A circuit above all others that exudes history with the original track built way back in 1922 still recognisable. Home to the Italian Grand Prix Monza is always a race full of atmosphere; this is the home of the prancing horse, Ferrari, and their passionate followers, the Tifosi. The circuit itself mildly resembles a modern-day Circus Maximus, fast and probably the closest you will see to an F1 Oval circuit.
The history of the track is outstanding - it holds tha fastest ever F1 race time recorded way back in 1971 by Peter Gethin in a time of 1 hour and 18 minutes. It was also the closet race of all time with 5 cars crossing the finish line within 1 second of the winner.
Tomorrow sees the 50th F1 race held - the most of any circuits - Damon Hill still holds the fastest ever speed around this circuit of an average of 155 miles an hour
Monza is the track of incident. Remember back in 1995 David Couthard spun off only to restart until a red flag
Be sure to watch today and tomorrow for an all car flying, body part crushing, adreniline filled race.
