They have opened a number of budget hotels in the UK including Falkirk, Teeside, Doncaster,Coventry, Peterborough, Birmingham Bordesley,Liverpool, Barking and London Thurrock. The Falkirk hotel has 75 rooms, there are 86 rooms at the Coventry hotel, Peterborough's unit has 80 rooms and most of the others around 60 rooms You can book by telephoning the hotel dirctly or through their web site. Indeed,they have partially eliminated the staffed reception desk-outside peak check-in and check-out times an electronic check-in unit for so called "...automatic room allocator..." checks your credit card,debits the room charge and issues you a PIN that lets you into the hotel and your guest room.All high-tech indeed ! ...Hi We have just stayed at the Accor group's Hotel Ibis at Bordesley Green in Birmingham. Its a fairly bog standard Ibis hotel, but the staff were friendly and courteous. Its set in what seemed to the outsider a fairly rough area of town – they have a large mechanical gate to lock all the cars in at night! We noticed that t is remarkably close to the Birmingham City football ground, which might be useful for anyone wanting to stay close to that. The rates are good at the moment – just 35 GBP for any room on Fri-Sun and 39.95 GBP otherwise.... Read review

...I stayed at the hotel in Birmingham, when we arrived there was a group of people trying to book a room but it was full. The gentleman behind the reception desk was polite and friendly. The car park was large and we could see your car from the room. The keypad on the door made me feel safe leaving items in the room. it wasn't too far out of the city center and there were bus stops outside, a McDonalds and a Morrison's in the same area. The room was small but comfortable, our room slept 3 people. The WC's and showers were clean and the showers were very spacious. The hotel met my needs and I'll use it again. Since staying I've discovered that they have hotels in many parts of Europe and my friends and myself are planning a trip to Madrid using the Formul 1 hotel.... Read review
