Under currents are very strong (Atlantic) so beware!
If you are planning to get married, Nassau is an idyllic place.
Sunsets are breathtaking. Night- life can be as exotic or challenging as you like. Restaurants from Chinese to Burger bars, I do prefer local sea-food especially the Conch (pronounced Conk") pubs where you can try the local beer called Kalik, the daiquiris or the ever present rum (there is a Baccardi distillery on the Island) or go to the Casinos (2 world Class Casinos in Nassau) and if you can't stay away from booze, try a booze cruise.
Enjoy Steel Bands and jazz.

Advantages: A great selection of shops, free parking Disadvantages: Doesn't have any designer stores
In the past few years there has been so many of these "shopping centres" popping up all over the uk, having all the major high street shops all located in one place and all under one roof. Normally these places are placed out of town area's and in industrial estates.

In a land where walking is a minority activity, the Nassau is refreshingly well located.
