The 2 times I have been to Rome I have been to this Restaurant and had the nicest food ever.
Its located at Via Del Pantheon 55 which right by the Pantheon, just up a side street.
Its best to book or to arrive very early as its very popular. As you enter you see pictures all over the walls of politicians from all over the world. They are all accompanied by the owner of the restaurant who is also always there every night in his same little outfit. We booked the first time but the 2nd time we arrived just as it opened at 7.30pm and were lucky to get a table.
The staff are extremely helpful and polite. They have the menu in many languages so the only problem in ordering is choosing what to order as there is so much!
This is where i first discovered Buffalo Mozarella - mmm yum... they way they put this together is awesome. I've also had the gnocchi - of which Im not normally a fan, but this stuff just melts in your mouth. The chicken is also good too.. I wish I could go back every day to try everything on the menu.
They have a great selection of wines, something for every taste. Its what they call a mid range restaurant in terms of price but I think thats great value for money. I would say the average price per head, including drinks is about €34 (all depending on how much you drink!)
The restaurant is closed on Sundays which is unfortunate but I guess the owner needs a break! They are open Mon - Sat 12 - 3pm, 7 - 11.30pm I'm not sure what else I can say to tell you how good this place is. Im HIGHLY recommending it.
