If you are looking for luxury accommodation on the beach the Four Seasons Hotel offers all of this and more.
Situated on it's own sandy beach in the Amathus area of Limassol and on the seafront road.
The hotel has 304 luxury rooms ranging from superior sea view rooms, family suites, garden suite (for adults only), executive suites and the ultimate Royal Suite. All rooms have mini bar, internet connection, satellite TV, safe, tea and coffee making facilities and a very high standard of furnishing and comfort.
A choice of restaurants serving fist class international cuisine from Chinese, gourmet Greek, Seafood & fish, Cafe Tropical is very popular and offers delicious fresh buffets and a la carte menus. Dont miss visiting Colors cafe where they serve the best home made ice cream and cakes on the island!!
Spa - offering Thalaso treatments and spa
Tennis courts, Table tennis, diving school, sauna and jacuzzi, gym and water sports.
Two outdoor swimming pools, childs pool and an indoor seawater pool too.
Entertainment is
provided by the animation team who keep you and the family occupied all day - aqua aerobics, kindergarten, flower arranging, table tennis competitions, quizzes, kids club, and a lot more! In the evenings there is live entertainment by various quality local acts in the cocktail bar and outdoor bar. So you are pretty much entertained throughout the day and night!
Children & families are catered for with the kids club, teens club, childrens meals menu and babysitting plus there is an amusement centre with video games to keep the kids from getting bored!
This is also a business hotel and you will see a number of smartly suited business people attending conferences and having meetings in reception but it doesnt take away from the relaxed holiday atmosphere.
There is a bus stop near the hotel which takes you to the old town, the shopping centres, market and some of the historical sites. You can actually walk along the beachfront walkway from the hotel which takes you all the way up to the St Raphael marina and on the way you can stop off at the recently excavated archeological sites. Best to take this walk early in the morning or later on in the day when it is cool enough to walk!
There are a number of restaurants nearby too. You would really need to take a taxi to get to the better ones (only about 5 minutes drive away), Terra Mare is an excellent Italian restaurant well worth visiting and also a Thai restaurant called Zen Room which is located opposite the Grand resort hotel. If you fancy going a bit further afield its worth visiting the old town and the castle area where there are some great eateries and cafes. Great lunches are served at 'Molly Malones' with typical Irish dishes and Chesters Bar who serve up delicious salads and snacks through the day and night.
A few souvenir shops nearby and also a bank across the road if you need the facility of a cash machine.
Back to the hotel and one of the most important facilities the hotel has to offer - it's Blue Flag beach, clean and safe for families with plenty of sunbeds.
As you walk into foyer of the hotel you imediately take in the atmosphere of a deluxe first class hotel, with it's luxurious decor and courteous staff who are also very friendly and efficient. Its a great place to relax and be treated like royalty, and one of the few 5 star hotels on the island who welcome and cater for families.
The hotel is open to the public and some of it's restaurants are too (Chinese, Seafood & Fish, gourmet Greek) and these can get booked up so its worth booking in advance. The same goes for the spa, hairdressers etc - if you are planning on a relaxing day of thalasotherapy check availability early on in your holiday. During peak season some of the kids clubs can get full so again its advisable to check and plan ahead where possible.
If you need information on local excursions, car hire, places to see, speak to guest relations or reception, they have lots of information and directions to various places and also offer a range of excursions or car hire.
This isn't the place to go if you are looking for a cheap holiday, it's a luxury hotel and prices are not inexpensive. But it's worth every penny - you cant really find fault in the hotel, it's facilities, service or grand accommodation. It lives up to it's five star rating and in my opinion is the best on the island as it also offers friendly service you are always made to feel relaxed and welcome.
You can choose to have as fun packed or relaxed a holiday as you want within the hotel and the area, and is suitable for everyone really - perfect for a romantic honeymoon, a relaxed couple of weeks by the beach or a family holiday where the kids are well catered for. Highly recommended!
