Advantages: Situated in the heart of Mayfair Disadvantages: Expensive
...This is a wonderful hotel situated in the heart of Mayfair. It is a five-star hotel that backs onto ParkLane. The bedrooms are very comfortable and large in size. When I stayed there for the new year the service was friendly and the food was excellent. Although it is expensive to stay here it is thoroughly worth the money. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to stay in the West-end of London not far from Bond Street and Oxford Street. It is a good hotel to stay in for short shopping trips or for anyone going to London to see a show....

...What woudl you expect of a 5 star hotel in central London. If you have the cash then this is a great place to stay. Located off ParkLane, it's 5 star all the way, you may even bump into a visiting celebrity or three..! The rooms are pretty spacious, room service quick and tasty, plus all the faciltiies you'd expect.. One downside, apart from the price is the lack of a friendly atmosphere which does tend to be lacking at the larger chain hotels (Apart from the Sheraton chain..). Of course unless you've the money to make a difference, you may feel that you're not being looked after as well as the millionaire stood next to you at check-in... but at least you can live like a King for a few days!...

The theatre itself can be found on Drury Lane, London and is only a 5 minute walk from either Holborn or Covent Garden Underground stations.
The New London Theatre has changed over the years along with the different productions shown there including the world famous 'Cats'.

1851 - The building was named the Middlesex Music Hall.
1872 & 1892 - Reconstruction work took place to house larger audiences.
1911 - A completely new building was erected under the auspices of Oswald Stoll and renamed...

My stay at the George V Paris was just the lift I needed after a serious illness. From the minute my husband and I checked in, we were made to feel as if we were the only guests there. Of course we weren't ! We arrived just after the Cannes film festival more

I'm a big fan of Ibis hotels and stay in them for both business and pleasure. I had, however, read a bad opinion of the London Euston branch, so when I found myself needing to stay in Euston the other night it was with slight trepidation that I booked... more
