Wind freeze

Advantages: Suspenseful, gels together surprisingly well
Disadvantages: Weird special effects, largely unnecessary supernatural element

geeky and obviously has a hidden agenda, but I was immediately on his side because of the girl's attitude to him. Like the girl, his character really does develop during the course of the film and so Holmes also has the opportunity to prove that he really can act. Although there isn't as much character change as with the girl, and therefore he perhaps doesn't make so much of an impact, I really liked the way that we are kept guessing as to his motivations - this little element of mystery really made the film for me and I think that Ashton Holmes did a great job of playing on it. Although he has very little on-screen time, Martin Donovan, who plays an 'interesting' policeman, is worth a mention. I've seen the actor recently in The Haunting in Connecticut, in which he was largely a waste of space. In Wind Chill, however, he is actually very ...

Choose Newcastle!!!!!!!!

Advantages: Read on and find out.
Disadvantages: It is a long way from the rest of the country.....

I have now been a postgraduate student in the Department of Psychology at the University of Newcastle for the last two years and within this review I am going to sell you the virtues of coming here (mostly)..... So if you're interested please do read on! ***The University*** >>>>>General Info Newcastle is an old red brick University and consequently it has some of those old beautiful red brick parts that they just don't build anymore (this is where you will find architecture and the buisness school). It has a fabulous reputation and I can vouch for this personally, I think it is just great. Things round here are also changing fast, just in the last couple of years that I have been here they have built a brand new very funky looking Georgraphy department and the Northern Institute for Cancer Resarch. Things are changing fast ...

Four parents, one Christmas

Advantages: Brilliant main actors, great storyline, fun festive film
Disadvantages: Lack of chemistry between Vaughn and Witherspoon, most of comedy in trailers, got a bit silly

Brad and Kate are a happily in love couple who enjoy having fun without the responsibilities of marriage or children. For three years they've successfully managed to dodge the unwelcome Christmas season usually spent with family and have jetted off to many exotic locations. This year, having told each set of divorced parents that they won't be able to make Christmas again due to important charity work, they excitedly pack their bags ready for a hot Christmas in Fiji together. But arriving at the airport they find that their flight has been cancelled due to bad weather. When a news reporter interviews them, their families find out where they are and Brad and Kate both get phone calls inviting them round for the holidays. Doom falls upon them at the prospect of visiting four parents on Christmas day. And each visit is just as bad as ...
