Fifty yards down the road in street opposite the Church are two Trattorias both were very good value & quality.
So to sum up Basic Bed & Breakfast but great Location for Centre of Rome St Peters.

Visiting the Colosseum inRome is an experience you will not forget. I did not know what to expect when I went there.Everyone has seen photographs of the outside of the Colosseum and the inside as it once was has been reconstructed in many film sets. What did I really expect to see; I do not know but I suppose that I thought I would be disappointed at how little of it was intact or looked authentic. this was not the case though.
From the outside the Colosseum Rome is a strange building, when you try to take photographs of it you seem to notice how some pieces of its structure look at odd angles to other parts of it. There are usually long queues of tourists waiting to get into the Colosseum. Outside there are 'Romans' dressed up as ancient Romans and they are there to make money from tourists who pay them to have their photograph ...

Check out time is before 11 and you can pay either on check in or before leaving.
The price was quite a bit cheaper than most other hotels we looked at, which was great because for less money we got a great hotel in an amazing location.
The staff were very friendly, from the cleaners to those manning reception, everyone was very polite and kind. They're also helpful when asked questions about the city - an insiders knowledge is brilliant, they're very happy to help.
Overall, a much better experience than I've had in other hotels inRome. Fantastic location, spacious rooms and a good breakfast makes the Emmaus a must! ...
