I was visiting Frankfurt during Easters. It was an interesting experience visiting German without knowing any German. We checked into a 4 star hotel but was surprised by the rude service offered at the receptionist. Imagine a 4 star hotel doing this and it is at Frankfurt! I really can't believe my eyes. The rest of the day was fine, we has an enjoyable time in the city. No incidents happen until when we try to check our luggage into the airport. We again ran into problems with the luggage controllers. They are not only rude but impolite as well. Hence, Frankfurt is not a good place to go....imagine all the rude services you will get! Places to visit in Frankfurt, there's a lot of skyscappers to make one feel like he/she is in USA. There's an old town which has very interesting pre war buildings. For better scenic views, try visit the outskirts of Frankfurt like Maine.

Advantages: "Restaurants: unhurried, relaxing, inexpensive, historical, even medievial" .... "Where?" ... "In Frankfurt am Main." .... "Never ! who do you take me for, save your stupid jokes for someone else !" Disadvantages: "Are you kidding? This can`t be !... Frankfurt is a financial center, trade fare, traffic focus, airport and business place. Nix da medievial !! "
