My first experience of Frankie and Benny's (Nottingham) was around 2 and a half years ago, and i am only 19 coming 20 years old, I can still remember the main course I ordered, sirloin steak with garlic tiger prawns, and the reason I remember? It was absolutely delicious.
Ever since then, I have been going back time and time again and now have my favorites which I am addicted to, the cheese bake for example as a starter, what it lacks in size it more than makes up for in flavor. This seems to be the trend throughout all the food I have eaten here, the portions of food could be slightly bigger on some occasions. But it is generally fine and if there is that much of a problem I would ask a waiter to address my problem and I have no doubt that the staff (who work incredibly hard it seems) would sort the problem out in no time.

I realize it is a chain, but when I walk into this place from the street on a cold, wet and dark night I feel like my spirits have been lifted 10 fold. It feels unique, I forget about what I left on the streets and step into a New York old school Italian restaurant. The music, fits well with the atmosphere, gets me into the mood for the night.
Polite staff, clean areas, hot tidy delicious food make this a winner. It can also appeal for people on a budget, you could easily spend £60- 70 pounds, or £10-12 with a coke. Its all up to what you want.

One last note, the lunch menu absolutely excellent value for money. Not as big a menu but 3 courses for around 8 pounds I believe, if you haven't tried this place do yourself a favor and go!
