Oakleigh Guest House

Advantages: A warming, pleasant atmosphere with spotless rooms and good service
Disadvantages: Decor not particularly modern

gives a nice view. For those of you who have never heard of Stourport it is around 4 miles from Kidderminster and around 15 miles from Birmingham. If you are accessing it from a motorway then your best bet is to exit the M5 at Junction 5 at Droitwich in Worcestershire which then leaves you a 20 minute drive to find the small town of Stourport on Severn. ~The Guest House Itself~ The guest house is a rather substantial looking building and is set back from the road. It has a decent sized car park which homes around 10 cars. The building itself is cream and white fronted and gives the impression of a clean, well looked after building. The rooms are a decent size, but they are not overly modern in décor. However they were very clean and very well kept. They were of a high standard and had obviously been well cared for. Fathers Guest House, great place in the Cameron Highlands

Advantages: Location, views, surroundings
Disadvantages: Disappointing dorm room

Fathers Guest house has the perfect location on a small hill overlooking the tiny town of Tanah Rata in the Cameron highlands. Situated outside the town, but only a 3 minute walk into it, it has fantastic views and is tranquil but still has access to any activities the town has to offer. If you call the owners in advance letting them known when you will arrive then they will collect you from the town and save the walk up the hill with heavy bags. They also tend to be one of the touts who wander the bus drop off area and so if you arrive by bus then there is almost always someone there who you can ask to get a lift up the hill. Driving up towards the guesthouse the first thing that is obvious is that this is a beautiful area. The views from the top go right across the town and amongst the rolling hills of the area. The Cameron highlands ...

Review of Fathers Guest House, Cameron Highlands

An excellent guest house, hotel to stay in islamabad

Advantages: Prompt service, Personal attention paid each guest by the management, Worth the price
Disadvantages: Not any as of i remember

I stayed at at five other small hotels and guest houses in Islamabad Pakistan before I found the New Cape and I believe you would be hard-pressed to find a better place in Islamabad for the price. The house is a large villa which is immaculate and spacious with hi-speed Internet, and large rooms with plenty of light. I was fortunate to have a huge balcony as well. The house is centrally located in an upscale, quiet and secure residential neighborhood within walking distance between the two nicest markets in the city, which host good best bookshops, clothing stores, bakeries and restaurants. However, the traditional Pakistani food served at the guest house is excellent and all the dishes I ordered tasted homemade. The owner, Karim, is very friendly and will gladly try to assist you with any assistance you may need. (I didn't have ...
