Advantages: Got me to Lanzarote safely Disadvantages: Delays, poor service, poor website...
...Background:
For our holiday to Lanzarote we chose to book our flights through cheapestflights.co.uk and we did not get off to a great start. Having booked and paid for flight times of our choosing, we were satisfied that everything was great. Having a 3 year old son, I wanted to ensure flight times that coincided with our family routine. A few hours later I was called and informed that the flights I had chosen were fully booked and they offered an alternative flight. The outgoing was ridiculously early, but as it was Stansted, we decided we had no choice but to accept, having already booked our villa and car hire. ...We have flown a number of times in the last 18 months with Korean Air, both internationally- short and long haul- and domestically.
Internationally, we usually travel buisness class, though we have used economy plus for one trip, from Busan to Shangahi, as there is no business class on that sector.

Advantages: a real good day out Disadvantages: tickets seem expensive but you get a lot for your money
...Every year at RAF Fairford the Royal InternationalAir Tattoo is held.
Fairford is in Gloucestershire, 8 miles from Cirencester, 18 from Swindon.
This year it is being held 12th and 13th July. The sale of tickets is going to be different this year. I must admit that I do not like how they are doing it but can see why. As it is on a weekend up to now you bought a ticket and could then choose which day to attend. Most people chose the Saturday as they knew all the stalls would still be there on the Sunday and on the Sunday they do tend to pack up a bit earlier. But having said that, on the Sunday there are some bargains to be had as they dont want to take them back with them. If like me it is a stones throw away, if Saturday is drizzly you can go on the Sunday. This year though you have to buy a ticket for which day you want...
