Lovely hotel with beautiful surroundings!
Advantages: Quietness, brand new hotel, warm welcome... Disadvantages: a bit far from Grenoble city...
I have been to this hotel last June, invited for a wedding and it has been a nice surprise! (I wasn't expecting much of a chain hotel, but this one has been a great experience!)
**access**
Not very easy from Grenoble: you have to follow direction 'Chambery' (A41) and exit at # 24A 'Crolles -Bernin' , then at the 2nd round-about you take left and then straight ahead in the Technologic park... and when entering the village Bernin, you take the 2nd ... ...'domaine' with a lounge restaurant and a congress center.
**parking**
by the way: a car is really mandatory in this part of the valley!
the parking place is free of charge, closes at night and wide (about 100 places back and front)
**check-in**
the lobby is wide and brand new, yellow painted walls, red sofas, wood... the lift is right in front of the main door and the front desk on the left...
Clerks are very welcoming and nice, checking if ...

Amazing Family Ski Chalet near Chamonix
Advantages: Good location, luxury accommodation, stunning scenery, good for families Disadvantages: Doesnt snow in the summer!! --but i believe you can still stay :)
Isra Eco Chalet was amazing, a truly luxury accomodation. The ski terrain is great for all levels of skier, and the chalet was perfect for our family. With cinema screen and spa, lovely bedrooms and easy access to ski areas, this was the best ski holiday we have ever had! The surrounding area is absolutely stunning also, and as the chalet is in a nice place the views are all right out your window :) The local amenities were also great with a lovely ...

Le Cervin Plange Soleil France Odlays Residence
Advantages: Ski to/from door, close to centre, smal village quiet, parking Disadvantages: Tatty, tired, basic no frills.
This review is on Le Cervin Apartments in Plagne Soleil at 2050M in the resort of La Plagne French Alpes. I am also going to review the whole area of La Plagne in a different review as I think it will be to long to put both together. In the other review I will price items and talk about areas other than Plagne Soleil. Well where to start, oh yes. I must say it was not our accommodation of choice so forgive me for the negatives but we were supposed ... ...Le Cervin as I have already mentioned is in the resort of La Plagne in France which is made up of 7 varying sized areas. The Cervin is partly private and partly public available block, when I say this I mean that some are run by Odlays and others are privately owned all in the same block. There are about 100 rooms in the block. The north facing ones over look Plagne Soleil square and look onto granges which is a similar building opposite. The Cervin ...

St Sorlin d'Arves review
Advantages: quiet resort, off the beaten track Disadvantages: may struggle in this accommodation if no car
...Sorlin is part of the Les Sybelles ski circuit, situated in the Maurienne Valley. Les Sybelles offers 310 km of linked piste and St Sorlin has 120km and the highest point at 2620m. The whole Les Sybelles area is relatively undiscovered by the British market, and very quiet, we went the first week of Jan 2008 and never once queued for a lift. In fact at certain times we were the only ones on the piste!
The main resorts to stay in are Le Corbier, ... ...of shops and nightlife.
Les Sybelles ski circuit
2007/2008 price for a 6 day lift pass - 169 euros covering 310km piste.
Lift tickets the hands free electronic variety.
We actually spent most days in the St Sorlin area as it had the best snow and really good off piste, and you can travel quite a way on the St Sorlin lift ticket (28 euros per day) If you leave the St Sorlin area you will have no option but to do a drag lift. Being snowboarders ...
