Being a clutural little bunny, or at least pretending to be, I've spent some of my free time since coming to Vienna 2.5 months ago in museums. Once day, way back in my 1st week here, I went to Siggi's little museum in the 9th district.
My interest in Freud began when I was doing A Level Psyc at school and we studied his works, so when I found out Vienna had it's very own museum dedicated to him, I knew I wanted to go. The museum it self is housed ... ...is limited and so it's rather cramped. There's a lot on display though, including letters and postcards he sent, and photos of his family and schoolteachers. There is a copy of Anna Frank's work on British children, and copies of all Sigmund's books in 4 languages, including English. There are 6 rooms available to visitors, including a "media" one in which a video portraying his life is on constant repeat, plus lots more besides. There is a visitors ...

...This is the third review from my trip to Vienna. Are you bored yet? Well, sorry but I am actually enjoying writing these, they bring back happy memories.
Sigmund Freud was a giant amongst modern mankind. Having studied the rudiments of psychology and psychoanalysis in various degrees over the years, the prospect of a visit to the pre-war home of this founder father of psychoanalysis was an opportunity not to be missed. The museum by happy coincidence was located only ten minutes from our hotel.
We walked to the address stated in the guidebook, 19 Bergasse. There is little to indicate that the terraced house is a museum. The door is closed, I was beginning to wonder if I had made a mistake and we had come to the wrong place when my husband spotted a small notice to the side of the door directing visitors to ring the bell...
