Townhouse in the heart of Brighton. The Griffin Guest House is a few yards from St. James St. and also just off the seafront, you can be on the Pier in less than two minu...
Advantages: Very close to city centre Disadvantages: none
...The Anchor GuestHouse is situated in the city centre. From Dublin Airport, travel on the 747 (Easily caught from outside the airport exit, well signposted and regular) Stay on the bus until Dublin Bus Station, the Anchor GuestHouse is situated in Lower Gardiner Street which is just round the corner from the bus station.
The GuestHouse is a town house with a new extension on the back. There are a few steps to go up and I have not seen a ramp. From the entrance hall, up about 10 stairs you walk through a sitting room to the extension which has a lift.
The rooms are all well presented, clean and tidy with Television and en-suite bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. A tea tray will be put in the room for an extra small payment and will be filled up everyday.
We have only stayed in twin rooms, but they will let them...

Advantages: Reasonably Priced Disadvantages: Very Small Rooms

Advantages: Excellent service, nice quite location Disadvantages: No lifts or ramp for those with walking difficulties
...is that there is no lift or ramped access for any guests confined to a wheelchair. It is a shame as this would be the perfect place to rest, relax and spend some time.
So at the end of the day I thought that Estalagem got it right. Quinta da Casa Branca is worth five stars and maybe a little more.

We had an enjoyable stay at this hotel.
What sold the hotel to us was its look. It has a traditional colonial appearance; a Madeira building that guests must have stayed at a 100 years ago. It has its own unique character and is such a contrast to all... more
