Advantages Easy to get to, flawless condition, good facilities
Disadvantages Rained a lot, but then again it is Bristol

With a few life adventures behind me, now is the time to concentrate on getting that doctorate I had always fancied. Based on a few recommendations from colleagues, I decided to scout out Bristol University on one of their open days. They have a fantastic reputation for chemical engineering, which is my chosen discipline, and I rather fancied some West Country flavour. I had been told that it would most likely be raining for the whole weekend and it did not fail to precipitate on schedule. Bristol University has a rather modernistic feel, quite different from the marble of Bath University ... more
