Malaysian Airlines is Malaysia's leading airlines and their well worth of their title. I have been using MAS for long and short distance flight and is well worth the money you spend. Their service is great - remember flying with them to India.... service is very nice, food, might need a bit improvement on the taste and choices on menu. Other than that you get ample leg space compared to other airlines. Once i have travelled on their Business class and it was excellent compared US airways and Jet Airways.
Well, advice to passengers who might want to use this airlines: sign up as a MAS offer membership (its free). with this you would be entitled to their offers which are regularly updated on every weekends. Compare this airline in every aspect and you will never go wrong.

Having lived and worked in Malaysia for twenty years I have flown on Malaysian Airlines on numerous short-haul,regional and long haul flights.The airline has a modern fleet largely centred on Boeing and Airbus aircraft,their engineering and maintenance standards are reputed to be good, and the hub airport,Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) is a delightful,new airport with state-of-the-art facilities.
In flight service by the friendly,polite but efficient cabin crew is a delight. I would rank MAS very highly on this aspect. The in flight magazine tucked into the seat pocket,Going Places,is a good read,although I have come across better ones and the cuisine on board is good but perhaps not the best. MAS,the Malaysian flag carrier bills itself as the "Golden Airline" and in many ways it is justified in doing so. I have flown on MAS many times,within Malaysia, and from Kuala Lumpur to London and other places.
I have always found the in flight service to be excellent, the in flight entertainment to be more than satisfactory, and there is quite a lot of leg room on board. The aircraft seem to be well maintained and the fleet is a modern one.
The food is quite good,although frankly I have eaten better on Air Lanka and UTA French airlines. The flight attendants are very friendly and are very helpful to mothers travelling with children.If I have a criticism of Malaysia's national airline it would have to centre on the ground service,which I think could be improved. ...
