Before getting married I went to Paris to do some shopping as that is the 'in' thing to do. I was scared that I would have to walk around this unknonw city finding some nice boutiques. However, a friend advised me to take a 'Taxi' and go straight to Gallery Lafayette. She was absolutly right - and that was the only place I went shopping in Paris. They have everyhting you can imagine, in any size, and reductions all year round - which is not so necessary as the clothes are cheaper there then in London to start with. So if you are looking for anything - Gallery Lafayette is the place to be.

Advantages: perfect city to be inspired by architecture, culture, shopping and fine cuisine Disadvantages: just too many tourists, hope this review wont bring too many extra ones
