Advantages: A warming, pleasant atmosphere with spotless rooms and good service Disadvantages: Decor not particularly modern
I currently live in Stourport on Severn in the heart of Worcestershire and recently had some distant relatives come to visit for the weekend and we needed somewhere for them to stay as our house just wasn?t big enough to accommodate the whole family. In the end we decided to book a couple of rooms at the Oakleigh GuestHouse as I had heard good reviews on the place from friends.
~Location~
Oakleigh GuestHouse is situated right in the heart of Stourport on Severn town centre so is in a perfect location to access all the local amenities. However it is situated far enough away from the main High Street so that you don?t get the noise from the pubs on a Friday and Saturday Night.

As a (slightly) wild teenager in the 70's, my friends and I would go to the GardenHouse cellar bar and consider ourselves very sophisticated as we sang along to live rock or folk groups and sipped our beers from the bottle.....times have changed, I'm now a tee total grandmother to three!!
As I matured and my tastes became more refined, my ex husband and I used to visit the GardenHouse Hotel for dinner regularly. A finely decorated dining room served wonderful food and the staff were well trained ...
