...am a regular clubber to garlands club in Liverpool it is wicked. Garlands is one of Liverpool’s gay clubs, but it is a great laugh for straight people. Everyone at the club is friendly and you are made very welcome. While queuing you get given sweets on special nights and there is usually something to entertain you going on. Advantages: good doorstaff / exellent atmosphere Disadvantages: if you have the wrong attitude you wont get in!
...sentence everyone know and loves... garlands is a truely amaing club, i have never been to any other club that has the same atmosphere, grace or clientel!
set over two floors, funky house upstairs, trance / hard house downstairs the club is a legend in its own right.
dave and huey are the residents pumping out the finest funky hosue upstairs, no one can fault there ability to make any nigth a memorable one.
downstairs hosts some of the worlds ... ...halliwell to name but a few.
the crowd is gay orientated, but not the type of pretentious, stuck up 'in your face' queer you may thing of. its a friendly, talk to and get on with anyone sort of crowd, a proper clubbing community!
entry is quite strict, if you aren't dressed samrt and dont have the right attitude you aint getting in, however, the doorman are very friendly.
drinks are resonable (around £3 for your average bottle of beer or spirit).
