Although I did not eat at the Leprechaun there is a menu in the hotel room and the verity and price looked good.
The hotel is ideally situated for the coast and mountain ranges of Wales with the coastline only twenty five minutes away and Chester five minutes.

The hotels car park is spacious but visitors are warned that they park their car there at their own risk. On entering the hotel you can not miss the reception, and the receptionist was pleasant and well organized. We were told our room number and given a card key for the room and an electric key to open the corridors leading to our room, the electric key only opens the doors leading to your room and not the other corridor doors that lead to other rooms.
The room we had was a double bedded room with TV, coffee and tea making equipment. There was plenty of storage room with a dressing table, cloths cupboard and chest of draws as well as bedside cabinets. The room also had a telephone/alarm clock/radio as well as ironing board/iron and hair dryer. The bathroom was typical with bath/shower, hand basin, toilet and saving point.
We had a drink in the cosy lounge before retiring to the comfortable bedroom. The bar has a good selection of beers and spirits.
In the morning we made our way to the breakfast room which was well appointed with plenty of tables. For breakfast you could have either continental or English, I had the full English and it was first class. There was also fruit juice, cereal and tea or coffee followed by toast.
The hotel has leisure facilities which are free to guests. There is a swimming pool, Jacuzzi and sauna as well as a tanning room. The leisure club has a gym which contained all the usual equipment including, running machine, rowing machine and weights. The swimming pool is not full size but big enough for a good swim.
The hotel does not cater for evening meals but there is a hotel opposite called the Leprechaun (no we where not in Ireland) which is part of the Gateway to Wales, here you can dine and pay for your food at the same time as you pay for the hotel. Although I did not eat at the Leprechaun there is a menu in the hotel room and the verity and price looked good.

In conclusion the hotel was first class for its size and well worth considering if you are looking for a B & B
