how light and cool it was, the window having been left slightly a jar, which was much needed after a long sweaty car journey and dragging two suitcases through Gatwickairport. Our room had a open wardrobe as you entered with our bathroom on the right hand side. There was a dresser, and chest of drawers, a TV with limited Sky TV and the obligatory pay per view facilities, one armchair and a double bed with 2 bedside tables.
I was quite surprised at the inclusion of a hair dryer in the room, something that is usually omitted from budget hotels.
Our bed was dressed with 2 pillows, a duvet with white covers and a 'Premier Travel Inn' purple runner across the bottom of the bed, I was quite surprised at the softness of the duvet cover and pillowcases, normally they can be quite rough, but these were lovely and soft and smelt wonderful ...

I stayed at the holiday InnGatwick with my family before and after flying out to the caribbean. It was clean and friendly and even the kids enjoyed it. The rooms were quite spacious with tea and coffe facilities. I even called reception as there was only one hot chocolate between the 2 children, and they were at our room within minutes with more sachets and packets of biscuits. We ate an evening meal there too and it wasn't too badly priced! We got up early the next morning and had a swim before catching our longhaul flight, which used up a bit of energy so the kids weren't too restless on the plane. All in all we loved it and would definitely stay again. ...

Airparks is a company that runs a long term car parking facility at GatwickAirport. I have used them on 3 different occasions when going on holiday. I usually prefer to use public transport to and from the airport but when the flight returns quite late I like to drive back. To book visit their website (www.airparks.co.uk), select the dates that you are looking to park for and they will quote a price. For 6 days this is in the region of £27 or £4.50 per day, so is not too bad. They are listed on several cashback sites, such as quidco and topcashback, so you can get around 10% of this back. You can pay by credit or debit card (credit cards have a £1.50 fee) and once payment has gone through you are sent a confirmation email with a reference number that you have to take with you when you go.
