Once you have arrived in this relatively not very big town lying in the feet of Rila mountain, you will feel astonished to see so many young people around.Small and picturesque cafes, restaurants and the so called here "mehani" are full of beautiful girls, handsome young boys and the exciting atmosphere of youth. These young people, who are mainly the students of the two universities-the American University in Bulgaria and the South-West University, coming from different countries of the Balkans, the variety of languages and cultures they speak and belong to make Blagoevgrad look fresh, full of life and joy, hilarious and attractive as much as no other town in Bulgaria.
