The natural park of Plitvice is a show that absolutely owes to be seen. My suggestion is spend to2 days in visiting it! The 9th of July we reached Plitvice and from the entry 1 we get to the office of the tourism where two "Nice" Girls make us know that there were no rooms at the, that the don't sell hotel rooms and convinced us to accept a setup in a private lodging. As always, I mistrustfulled because I wanted to stay in the first hotel that directly lies on the park (The Jezero), and the reception girl candidly tolds me that there were 4 of 5 double-betted room remaining at 105 Euros per night breakfast included! Not badly! We sat up in thew hotel and postponed our excursion to the park to the next morning, also considering that, for the we just have had uor dose of journey: 400 km! The 10th of July, at 9 o'clock in the morning the park opened, we made a 2 days tickets and we entered to visit this stupendous natural park that, from 1979 The Unesco inserted in the list of the natural and cultural patrimony of the humanity. The whole park extends for 266 square Km.
At the entrance you can take a bus that quietly brings you to the part of the superior lakes and allows the non traking students to enjot a long walk on comfortable and stable footbridges that make you visit the 16 lakes poured with a clear water that shines like diamonds and is rich in wildlike. During the run you can see many colored butterflies of an unique that aren't intimidated by the human presence, and they flutter to about ten centimeters from your faces! It could also happens that you take a seat on a fallen trunk on the edge of the lake to take a rest, and a nestful of wild ducks doesn't even protest for the excessive proximity (we should speak of about 60 cm.!). It is a long walk, but when the breath start toto becomes short you can quietly take the bus again and come back to the hotel, to hve something refreshing, eat something and then take a rest for a little time. You can quietly come back to your visit toward 5,00 pm, considering that the park closes al 8,00 pm. Other three hours of walk inside the park with the bus that leaved us in the point that we desired (where we interrupted our preceeding walk), continuing the descent toward the final falls afoot. What a mighty jump of 25 meters!
Ok today the meticulous walk among the nature is made, and also among lawns of Scilla litardierei, meeting with the eye some stupendous mountain peonies. Among the reeds on the shores of the lakes it happens to see among the other enchanting plants a stupendous orchid: the "cipripedio." A more footstep in there and you come upon the lilacs of Kranj and then a small lawn of "stained orchids" with, at their sides the 'too common' Cyclamens that however lifts their crest to compete with those beauty, not at all intimidated. What to say more? Scents and really unique, the colors are th eones any architect would ever have been able to approach, and anything is so well in a so exulting chaos. The following day we decide to take the boat that comes along for the most part of the lake up to the falls, where it brought us. He went down to the point where I refreshed diuring the coming back, and we visited again the mythical falls, and then we went up to the first islet where another mighty walk can be done, among to rustles of crickets! Among the beautifulbutterflies we can see some beautiful samples of Satyrium you bone, or of the beautiful Araschnias levana. In the clear waters of the little ponds we find two kinds of trouts autocnone of the lakes of Plitvice the Psalm trutta fario L. these are characterized by great particularly visible red stains in the season of the loves and her Psalm trutta lacustris L. that is characterized by glimmering black stains and camn arrive up to10 kgs of weight. Sangunerioles there are a lot of then (Phoxins phoxinus). What to say more? Visit it, because it is a really unique and exceptional place! For engraved our permanence in the park coincides with the championships of the world of draught with the arc but in front of the beauty of the uncontaminated nature we have looked at the poor archers for no more than 30 minutes of our our time.
