I was in Croatia twice and I really fell in love with this country. Clean, cheerful, kind, healthy. I was on Vir, a small island near Zadar and this was the place for people who like quiet, beautiful and romantic place. There were no discos and parties, but the bars were open till midnight and you could take gorgeous romantic walk along the seaside without any fear. You neednt to be afraid of anything. No sharks, no earthquakes, no thieves. Local people are very very friendly, and food and things are usually quite cheap. You also neednt to worry about accomodation. You can go there without any reservation and you will still find some private house for a good price. You can of course go for camping or go to the hotel. But in my opinion, you have more freedom in private house and kindness of local people which will show you many things and welcome you with local well known Sljivovica.
