I have traveled to Cyprus 4 times and I love it more every time i go back. It is a country that suits all interests. I first went with my family, and being a keen traveler as you can tell from my other reviews, I wanted to see the whole Island.
We hired a car and my dad and I shared the driving ( an experience in itself) and managed in our two week stay to see most of the island, as half of the island is occupied by the Turks and is inaccessible to tourists in Cyprus. We visited the troodosMountains where normally you could only get to by organised trip however my dad managed to get our little corsa around the windy roads and we reached the top, where the strangest thing happened to me. I met someone who I went to school with years ago, how strange that should happen at the highest point in Cyprus.
We also visited Aphrodrites baths which to me seemed like a rock!! Im sure some people would find that interesting?
The shopping in Cyprus is also paradise for all handbag, leather and lace lovers the prices are reasonable and its good quality
The rest of our trip was spent driving around and finding nice beaches to sunbathe on, as when we were there we had a heat wave and it reached 125 and all you wanted to do was lie and get a tan!!
The last time I went to Cyprus I went in a group of 4 girls and we went largeing it in Aiya Napa!! This has to be the best clubbing holiday ever. The clubs are wicked theres clubs for all music tastes, the streets come alive at night you cant move for all the clubbers at the bars waiting for the night to begin, the best club I thought was the spot,or Pzazz they get regular DJ’s from the UK. When I was there they were filming Aiya Napa uncovered which was fun,
I feel Cyprus is a fun place for everyone, There are many types of holidays that can be taken such as sightseeing, sunbathing, clubbers holidays there are things to suit all ages.
Cyprus is slightly more expensive than other destinations in Greece and Turkey however I think it is well worth it, out of all the places I have traveled Cyprus is my favorite by far.
I will be visiting Cyprus again in the near future I am sure.
