I've been to a few places in czech republic namely prague, pardubice, Hradec kralove, Brno, Olomouc. Prague is like almost all major cities in europe with a blend of people of different religion and culture. Transport system is excellent surprisingly ive never encountered any delays within the country itself except during this one winter where they didnt expect the snow so early. All flights were cancelled and delays on train lines. I found prague airport quite intriguing.ive never been to a duty free section in a country where there are no electronic shops!! If you are into drinkin beer then this is definetly the place to be!!Dont forget to have a shot of the famous absinthe!! Nightlife is quitevarried. Its useful to have a chat with people who have been there before. Radnost is decent for hip hop and RNB music, Duplex is quite impressive with a few floors playing different kinds of music ranging from techno to garage. Lolz and for those who are planning a trip to prague for a bachelor's party then Darling's cabaret is the place to go. For sightseeing, Prague is a great city with a lot of history guided tours are provided by agencies near charles bridge. But do try places outside prague if u are "nature" type of person. Watch out when catchin a taxi some ppl will try to overcharge you.u mite want to try some haggling u can easily get ur fare reduced considerably. For places outside prague is good to have a guide who speaks czech or might be a problem getting around. At night i would say that central prague may not be too family friendly as loads of people will approach you to attract you to various cabarets
