If you like the mountains I suggest you to visit the Aosta Valley (Valle d`Aosta) in Italy. This is a really nice zone. Courmayeur is a fantastic town on the Monte Bianco, the higher mountain of Italy. It is situated 220 Kilometers from Milan. The landscape is fantastic. In the centre you can find a lot of shops, where you can buy everything you need, unfortunately it is a little bit expensive,. If you like skiing, here you can do it, the ticket for all the day costs 30/35 Euro. You have to take the cableway from the town to Plan Checrouit, here begins the sky runs and you can find a sky school and a nice restaurant. In sunny days the landscape is brethtaking. There is also a special sky run for children. If you want to plan a trip in this town, visit the official site www.courmayeur.net. The site is also in English and is structured as follows: Receptivity A list of hotels 1, 2, 3, 4 stars. You can book your hotel online, unfortunately this section is written only in Italian (but I will be happy to help you with the translation) Information on camping and restaurants are also available. Photos There are some photos of the town in summer and in winter. Information request Filling a form you can obtain via e-mail every kind of further information. .

I have been to Italy Twice once to Rimini on the booze as a youngster and to Parma for work, I had a lovely meal in Parma. The trip to Rimini was by Coach so I saw plenty of Italy (in fact Europe) on the way! Cookie

You went there in 2204? Is this science fiction? :-) I was in Cournayer many years ago on the way to Monte Bianco, but can't remember much.
