In the brochures Malta appears a lovely country with plenty to do for all, but in reality it is a very dusty country with litte to offer except clear blue waters and almost constant sun. The main attractions are in relation to these, for instance a trip to the Blue lagoon in Gozo, and the Inland sea are both goo days out providing you like swimming. The golden beach, again only if you like swimming. The only reason I would recommend Malta is for the sun or for youths wanting nightlife such as can be found in the St Pauls bay area, and even then it is not as good as many other destinations. It is on the whole cheap, but that would not want to make me go back.
