Well, Negros (Occidental and Oriental) is about the best place to be in if you're in this country. For one, the humble city of Bacolod is found in this place, the city I might point, is the home of the famous Masskara festival and, of course, the forever delicious Inasal (marinated charcoal-roasted chicken). But besides that, what makes this part of the country special is that there are so many to see. With its numerous towns and cities-each with its own culture and history-you have enough celebrating to last for a year! I mean, there's the Pinta Flores, Cinco de Noviembre, etc. I couldn't remember all the other festivals we went to but heck it was fun all over!! There was food in all the possible varieties and taste to make your tongue tingle. Plus the accomodations are great. The hospitality is warm, the people friendly. All in all, it's one visit I'm sure you'll enjoy too!!...
