The descendents of the maya people we find in the villages in Honduras, Nicaragua or Belize, are, in my view, the sad consequence of the colonization of this continent.... Read review

Advantages: Lush, green & refreshing!
Disadvantages: Ca be wet at times

...I was planning a day and a half for the Monteverde cloud forest and ended up staying a week. There is a lot to do, and the area is very safe and comfortable. I've been in Nicaragua and Honduras (I liked these places too), but there is no way you can wander safely for hours by yourself, in the jungle, like you can do in Monteverde. Plenty of well maintain and marked trails, great diversity (primary forest, secondary forest, pre-mountain forest, waterfalls, etc.) and many other things to do like Sky Trek, a new canopy tour ( 11 zip lines, 3 suspended bridges, a observation tower, and 2 miles of lush trails, about 3 hours: $35) that was the most thrilling thing I did in Costa Rica ( the "original canopy tour" is overpriced at $45, and last only 1h15, 3 zip lines ). ...of that left over grot you're so used to seeing lying in the counter with stuff like cheese and tuna), pies and quiches which they had just run out of. *What was the drinks menu like?* Not bad at all. It boasted your usual coffees (black, white, cappuccino, latte) and other colder drinks such as water and orange juice. The coffee however they maintain is fairly special stuff… I however couldn't remember exactly what each thing was so I sort of cheated and whacked this straight of the website for you… International knowledge (Country of Origin and their given Dominant Characteristics) Ethiopia and India : Body Brazil : Aroma East Timor : Superb crema Nicaragua/Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico : Acidity for balance and feel in the mouth I did hear from a friend that they do some sort...
