Nigeria is located in West Africa. The country has a population of 110.000.000 plus. It generates most of its revenue from oil has a rich vegetation of agriculture.
There are three major languages in the country namely, yoruba, ibo, hausa. The country has remained secular, despite the predominant religions of cristianity and Islam. People of the country succesfully lived harmoniously with intermarriages within the two religions and cultures.
The country is blessed with the pictureskill with quite interesting places for touris visits. There is the cold and hot spring water for in Ondo State, The Olumo Rock in Ogun State, where you find large boulders of rock perching on the tip of a very high and sharp cliff. There is also the Yankari Game reserve in thr north.
Beatiful rivers and lakes cutting across the south, which is riverine area of the country. You will also not forget the metropolis-city Lagos (You can read my opinion about Lagos as well)
The country has a rich culture and heritage with various festivals, traditional, religious running throughout the year for tourist delight.
Nigeria has experienced over the years political turbulences and is now settling down with a democratically elected goverment. The present administration enjoys the support of the people in ensuring continuity in their new democratic state.
This country certainly has potential for investment short or long-term with promises of good return on investment.
The Nigerians are warm, sociable, accomodating people and always have open arms to embrace visitors and investors. It is certainly an emerging market that should not be overlooked.
In an attempt to correct the damaged of the country, attributable to the military regime, the present goverment is making serious effort to restructure the international airports, imporve security and reduce immigration if not completely eliminate immigration bottlenecks. Certainly the new image invites and encourages tourism in the country.
