I travelled to Singapore in December 2005. It was really a pleasant trip for me. I stayed for 15 days there for FIDE (World Chess Federation) Arbiters training. I want to present my experience as simply but effectively as I can.
It was my first travel to any country and when I landed Changi Airport, though I dont know the country, i got surprised that it is very easy to travel by metro and no need of waiting for the trains like in our country. Though I dont have map that time I travelled easily to my destination of Hotel Royal (a 5 star) within half an hour by just watching the displays of the maps and directions on the road (its really fantastic, you just need to understand English, thats all). I saw the biggest and never sleeping shopping mall Mustafa Mall (it opens for 24x7). I took almost a day to see that mall completely. Another feature I found was the lowest prices of the products. I went to Santosa, an Island, by Ropeway, Really thrill to watch the dangerous theatre ( a show, you must watch it), greatest Laser show, Dolphins show, the underground AQUARIUM and many more.
