Turkey is both muslim and secular European country. However, they are also keen on their tradition which is a mixture of cultures. Anatolia has become a host to very different cultures for ages. You can still smell that mysterious history seeing its ancient prooves. Bodrum,Marmaris,Antalya,Kapadokya are popular places except the beatiful city Istanbul. In my opinion, Hittites, Persians, Ancient Greeks, Romans, Seljuks, Ottomans and all of them an historical fantasy, Fantastic! If you are keen on history,you can find more than you want especially In the middle and Mediterranian region of Turkey.
