A cheap hostel in London

Advantages: cheap rooms in london, good location
Disadvantages: loud, staff not friendly

We stayed at the Clink Hostel for 3 nights in May. Rooms are very reasonable priced and you have a choice between -single/double/triple en suite by room -dorms from 4 to 16 beds both en suite or not Booking is possible on www.clinkhostel.com and hostelworld.com - I heard it's also possible to do it via phone. Booking was quick and easy. The location close to Kings Cross is great. Within Zone 1/2 on the underground it is easily reachable. At King's Cross you can get the following tubes: Northern Line (Black), Metropolitan Line (Dark Red), Circle Line (Yellow) and Hammersmith and City Line (Pink). From the tube station to the hostel it's a 5min walk. WE found the hostel easy to find and the location quite central. The quick connection between King's Cross and Camden town was a huge plus point. Plus points: -free walking tour ...

LUXURY IN LONDON!

Advantages: Brilliant rooms, service, food, internet etc
Disadvantages: expensive!!!

In the middle of February, I was lucky enough to be whisked away for a long weekend in London with my grandma. I?m a huge fan of west end shows and musicals, and so our trip was booked- we would go and see various different shows. I couldn?t wait to go. One thing I hadn?t thought of before going however was which hotel we were staying in. I reckoned that we wouldn?t be spending too much time in the hotel itself, as we were going to be very busy, so as long as it had two beds, a bathroom and some sort of wardrobe I?d have been happy. I knew the name of the hotel was The Grosvenor, however I didn?t have a clue what its reviews were like, or in fact how many stars it had. Getting to the hotel We had absolutely no problem finding the hotel. We took the train from our hometown, to King?s Cross in London. We only had to wait ...

Best cheap accomodation in London

Advantages: cheap, clean, comfortable beds, breakfast (basic but as much as you want)
Disadvantages: sometimes no noise rules not enforced enough

From time to time I stay in London, usually for just one or two nights. Until I found the Generator, I stayed in various cheap hotels/hostels. They were all ok, but since finding the Generator, I would never go back to the others. I first found it on an advert board in a hotel/B&B place at Gatwick airport (where I work) when I was looking for a place to stay. The price seemed almost too cheap and I was concerned that maybe it might not be a very pleasant stay. I realised I was wrong when I arrived there. I chose a twin room - I usually visit London with a friend - as the price was not very different to that of the dorms. The price varies slightly - I think according to time of year, etc - but is usually somewhere between about £45 and £50 for the room, working out at about £20 to £25 per person. I'm not sure ...
