Advantages: Very convenient for Temple Bar Disadvantages: Unable to check in to my room until 2.45pm
...I stayed in the Harding Hotel for a weekend in mid August 2002. I had left the booking late, but managed to get a just room 3 days before.
The hotel is well located, on the street where Handels Messiah was first performed, with a view over Christ Church Cathedral and only 2 minutes walk from the shops, bars and many attractions of Temple Bar.
The room cost only 60 euros a night, which is low by dublin standards. Although the room was quite basic, it was clean and nicely decorated. ...an excellent hotel very close to the airport. ideal for late arrivals or early departures.
the hotel caters for people's needs well, including disposable razors and toiletries if you forget them or if luggage has been lost somewhere- it does happen.
the food and drink service is excellent and the staff aim to cater for your dietary needs as well.
it is family friendly and the rooms are spacious and have double glazing.
there is a courtesy bus from/to the airport, you just need to use the complimentary phone in arrivals hall or hotel reception and they will come and pick up from outside the arrivals hall.
They also have smoking rooms to avail as you wish. A smloking area outside as well....
