There are plenty of ways of getting around the wonderful city of Bristol
*-* Car *-* Being situated near the M4, M5 and the M32 Bristol has access from al over the country. Just get off at J19 on the M4 and your on the M32 into Bristol. It has a good road network so it is possible to travel all over by car. However, during the rush hours itt can get very busy in the centre and at Cribbs Causeway. There is plenty of parking; Galleries , Tollgate and Bond St car Parks as well as various areas around the centre. Prices vary and so do trhe areas you can park in so check the meters and signs. There is plenty of off street parking a shorty distance away from the centre Therefore you can walk in or catch a bus. Cribbs has its own free car park with spaces for over 5000 cars.
*-* Bus *-* Bristol has a regular bus service around Bristol and further such as Weston Super Mare and Bath. There is a night bus available which gives priority to females. Various deals are on offer such as day riders and family tickets which gives unlimited travel for one day for around £3.00 for a day rider. There are also deals such as the Bristol Zoo offer which gives a bus ride to the Zoo and entrance fee all in one. See the bus station for more details
*-* Park & Ride *-* There is the Long Ashton and Brislington Park & Rides which are short distances from the centre. They offer cheap car parking and is usually more quicker than a car alone.
*-* Train*-* Bristol Temple Meads is situated near the centre of the city and is accesible through the country. Companies include Virgin, First Great Western and Wessex Trains.
*-* Walk*-* i know that Bristol is a big city however it is possible to walk to some attractions. ie. if you are in the centre you can vistit Broadmead Shopping centre as well as @Bristol which are short distances from each other.
*-* Boat *-* It is posible to travel by boat through the centre of Bristol. From Bristol Temple Meads it is possible to take a boat ride to the centre instead of walking or taking the bus. Certain times are available. more at peak than off peak
*-* Taxi *-* there are various taxi organizations in Bristol that operate through out the day and night. plenty of night clubs have joinmed up with taxi orgs. to ensure the safety of people when they go home. This can be expensive though.
As you can see there is plenty of ways to get to and around Bristol. Come for yourself and see what a great city it is.
