The central line on the London Underground System provides easy access to Central London quickly and easily. This line reaches out to the far corners of London and beyond. I live about 20 miles from London but am able to get the tube from Epping and get into town in an hour. Not quite as quick as the over rail service but a lot cheaper and by getting a one day travel card I am free to go anywhere in London by bus or tube. This is excellent value for money.
The service is, in the main, reliable and nearly always on time which makes a refreshing change from some services. The carriages are kept clean inside and staff are friendly and helpful.
