Gibraltar has to be one of the best destinations in Europe, it is warm, they speak English and you can get almost any type of food you desire there. They even have a Tescos. The shopping is fantastic and there is a full range of duty free alcohol, cigarettes and perfume as well as chocolate and gifts all at rock bottom prices, excuse the pun!!! There are plenty of things to do while on the rock, you can visit the upper rock nature reserve by cable car and visit the apes, the top of the rock, the Moorish Castle and St Michael's cave, or you could take a trip into the bay by boat to see the dolphins, you could also go shopping or catch a performance in the botanical gardens. If this is not enough coupled with wining, dining and shopping then it is possible to book excursions into Spain to visit such places as la Linea and other gems of Spain. There are plenty of beaches on the rock where you can swim and sunbathe. Then when that gets all too boring then you can take a local bus to the last point in Europe and gaze over to africa. Whatever you choose to do, Gibraltar is a destination not to be missed.
