Advantages: Kanos raps, great production, UK music Disadvantages: Some may not like the grime side of it.
Home Sweet Home is the 2005 album from London rapper and one of the UK's brightest young stars Kano (born Kane Brett Robinson), released on 679 Recordings, and with the majority of the tracks being produced by Davinche. As a kid Kano played football for (among others) Chelsea and Norwich youth teams but his interest was always with music. Becoming a member of the N.A.S.T.Y. (Natural Artistic Sounds Touching You) Crew, who counted Kano, Jammer, D Double E, Ghetto, Stormin , Demon and Sharky Major as members, Kano drew widespread ...
So after the shambles that was mc no1 this was kanos time to shine. I am pleased to say this is a great album while not as groundbreaking as home sweet home this is definately memorable. As the title suggests this is an album made up of grime beats which is great and shows that kano is going back to his roots. Skepta and ghetto are among the features they add there own flare and talent to the tracks which is welcoming! All of the songs where great there wasnt a bad song on it in my opinion and this is worth your money. Hustler is also a very original single while not exactly grime its a top song that puts the american rappers commerical songs to shame. Overall this is brilliant grime listener or not you will love this very memorable and possibley a classic ! you need to own this. ...
Advantages: Fantastic songs, great sound Disadvantages: I'll get back to you on that!
I am not quite sure when I first came across Kano, but I know that only a month ago teenager's name had not passed my ears. However when I first heard his amazing music, I became hooked almost instantaneously, and have not turned back. Kano is one of several British artists producing grime music, a mix of British hiphop and other urban genres, and this music is real, it deals with issues that do effect young people of today. These artists are from the streets they have witnessed and been affected by these issues, and they are learning how to deal with them - through their music.
I bought Kano's album, Home Sweet Home, in Ballymena's HMV where it cost £9.99. The cover is nothing special, I can assure you it does not feature a printer, no it has a picture of Kano sitting down in one of those hoodies that all adults and the Government ...
