Ginza street or the Ginza district is probably one of the busiest districts I have seen in Tokyo. It's comprised of about eight blocks put together and has some ten thousand or so shops, business offices, karaoke night clubs, spas and restaurants. It also has lots of those Japanese malls you can visit-one I'm particularly agreeable of is-what they call it again?-Roponggi Hills where the interior is quite cozy and of the rural-modern type: sleek but with a touch of the traditional. You can also visit their Kabuki Theaters (yes, this puppet show play is still the "in" thing in Tokyo and I don't believe it will go out of fashion either); or just wine and dine on saki and sushi... Delicious! Careful though because I think they have this anti-smoking-while-walking and no-throwing-of-butts ordinance there. You wouldn't want to get caught; or else you'll lose some time to shop. Bottomline, it's cool. If you want to experience tripping the Tokyo way while you're in the country, visit Ginza. And like me, you might end up saying, "Genki-desu! Let's shop!!!"

Sorry, but you have some factual errors here. Roppongi Hills is in the Roppongi district, not Ginza. Kabuki has nothing whatsoever to do with puppets - perhaps you're thinking of bunraku. If you correct the errors and expand the review I will happily re-rate. David
