value for your money

Advantages: good location for access to city centre
Disadvantages: no car park

Recently stayed at this premier travel inn while in town for a concert. i found the location ideal and the hotel was clean and tidy.there is a bar at the hotel and it is certainly good value for the money we paid for the room and we took up the £20 meal deal offer which got us a 2 course dinner plus a buffet breakfast the next morning which was an all you can eat style buffet, so you wont go hungry. the only thing that was a little bit annoying is ...

Review of Premier Travel Inn Glasgow - City Centre (Charing Cross), Glasgow

An excellent location

Advantages: Prime location, good facilities and friendly staff
Disadvantages: Not a very nice building from the outside, a bit drab.

The Thistle Hotel has an excellent City Centre location right next to Glasgow's famous 'Sauchiehall Street'. We found the secure underground car parking facility a definite advantage also, due to extremely high City Parking costs (£4 for 2 hours). The hotel itself was spacious and comfortable with an inviting reception hall, immaculate rooms and a well equipped gymnasium complete with pool, relaxation area and sauna. The staff were helpful and chatty ...
...a doorman 24 hours to heighten security and provide a friendly face at all hours! The food was also fantastic, and there was a relatively good room service menu for your night time hunger pangs! Very good value for money and , being just off the M8, is very easy to reach. ...

Amazing Airport Accommodation

Advantages: Very convenient for the airport, New, Stylish, Comfortable
Disadvantages: The breakfast could have been better

...reservations about staying in the Ramada Jarvis Glasgow Airport. I had stayed in airport hotels before now, and in my experience they were generally built to be functional rather than welcoming, as guests only ever stayed one night on their way to or from a flight. They tended to be noisy places as well, with the sound of flights taking off and landing (and often heavy traffic) intruding during your stay. In short, they were places you only stayed ...
...is just too dangerous. Ramada Jarvis provide a courtesy shuttle bus for guests to ferry them on the 500m journey between hotel and airport, though – you just need to give them a ring from the free phone inside the departures building. If you happen to be driving on the other hand, then I am reliably informed that you need to take junction 28 off the M8, from where the hotel is signposted, and park in one of the abundance of free spaces right outside ...

* A Great City Centre Hotel *

Advantages: Location , rooms ,
Disadvantages: expensive , weird food

...i know it's good) The Park in caught my eye because behind the reseption desk there is a water fall that changes colour , everytime I walked past this hotel I wanted to stay there!! ~*Location*~ it's 30 seconds from Glasgow bus station , not kidding you can see it from your window !! Very Central ~*The room*~ The room was lovely. The Ensuite had a cool jet shower.one thing is part of the bathroom wall was made of glass blocks which I found ...
...and you can see right in! ~* Extra Informatioin*~ This hotel is a 4 start hotel and it's part of a chain. Room service was good , but the food was a bit fancy for my liking. They had a resturant and a spa / sauna , the sauna was in the upstairs of the resturant , which is a little strange. ~*cost *~ cost me and my mate £60 for the one night , but we did have £25 off it due to using the hotel club so it is usally a bit more expensive than that. ...

Disgusting

Advantages: central glasgow
Disadvantages: everything else!

Definitly the worst hotel i have stayed in in my life time. Luckily we were only there for the night. The pictures on the website looked fine but when we arrived and got to our room it was awful the room stank of damp, the wallpaper was peeling off and there were a few holes in the walls as well as a picture of a naked woman drawn on the door. The bed was uncomfortable and the bathroom disgusting. When we went down for breakfast the next day i asked ...
