value for your money
Advantages: good location for access to city centre Disadvantages: no car park
Recently stayed at this premier travel inn while in town for a concert. i found the location ideal and the hotel was clean and tidy.there is a bar at the hotel and it is certainly good value for the money we paid for the room and we took up the £20 meal deal offer which got us a 2 course dinner plus a buffet breakfast the next morning which was an all you can eat style buffet, so you wont go hungry. the only thing that was a little bit annoying is ...

Amazing Airport Accommodation
Advantages: Very convenient for the airport, New, Stylish, Comfortable Disadvantages: The breakfast could have been better
...reservations about staying in the Ramada Jarvis Glasgow Airport. I had stayed in airport hotels before now, and in my experience they were generally built to be functional rather than welcoming, as guests only ever stayed one night on their way to or from a flight. They tended to be noisy places as well, with the sound of flights taking off and landing (and often heavy traffic) intruding during your stay. In short, they were places you only stayed ... ...is just too dangerous. Ramada Jarvis provide a courtesy shuttle bus for guests to ferry them on the 500m journey between hotel and airport, though – you just need to give them a ring from the free phone inside the departures building. If you happen to be driving on the other hand, then I am reliably informed that you need to take junction 28 off the M8, from where the hotel is signposted, and park in one of the abundance of free spaces right outside ...

Heaven at Devoncove
Advantages: Cheap, clean, good service and delicious breakfast Disadvantages: Bit of a walk from town centre
...found a page about The Devoncove Hotel. We typed in the dates and type of room we were looking for and found that the price was one we really liked so after a quick look at the pictures of it and some reviews on other sites, we decided to go ahead and book.
***What It Has***
Now as we were only staying for 2 days we didn't really use many of the services available but for those of you who are looking for special services then the list is pretty ... ...on Sauchiehall Street. The Devoncove is on the corner of the 3rd block along and the parking is down the side of Derby Street.
The hotel is about 2 miles from the centre of Glasgow but there are bus stops just outside the hotel and you can buy cheap all day tickets if you are going to be heading into town a lot. Be aware that after a certain time at night these buses stop and night buses take over. We didn't actually use the night bus but opted ...

Disgusting
Advantages: central glasgow Disadvantages: everything else!
Definitly the worst hotel i have stayed in in my life time. Luckily we were only there for the night. The pictures on the website looked fine but when we arrived and got to our room it was awful the room stank of damp, the wallpaper was peeling off and there were a few holes in the walls as well as a picture of a naked woman drawn on the door. The bed was uncomfortable and the bathroom disgusting. When we went down for breakfast the next day i asked ...

Top Hotel at Excellent Prices
Advantages: Great Food, Family Friendly, Relaxed atmosphere, Great Value. Disadvantages: Not very appealing from the exterior
The Glasgow Swallow is a well equipped comfortable and friendly Hotel, located a short distance outside the city centre but in an area with some of Glasgow's best attractions. It is an excellent choice for families and great value for money.
I have been to the Swallow in Glasgow with my family many times. From the outside the hotel is quite unimpressive, inside is a different story. It is well decorated and well laid out. As you walk in the door ... ...Food
Breakfast at the Swallow is brill. You have a choice of fruit juices, buffet style fry up and choice of cereals and pastries. You go to the dining room where you will be shown to your table. Waiting staff will be with you in a few moments to ask if you would like tea, coffee or toast, which arrives hot fresh and quickly. You can eat as much as you like and the price is included in your booking. The atmosphere is informal, relaxed and friendly. ...
