A GREAT SCOTTISH WELCOME
Advantages: peace and quiet Disadvantages: quite a way from city centre
I visited the Ewington on business in 2001. There were seven of us altogether - myself and my husband and five other staff members - both men and women. My husband was the designated driver for the weekend trip though he wasn't employed by the company I worked for. He was "employed" for the weekend only - his shortest ever job I think! We were given a variety of rooms depending on who was sharing with who. My husband and I had one of the larger suites ... ...given the choice between The Ewington and a city centre hotel I would definitely choose The Ewington. The atmosphere is lovely, the food fantastic, the rooms are beautiful and the staff cannot do enough for you
Our room was the Big Bay window on the top floor in the picture below

We both live in glasgow but wanted a nice hotel to go back to after enjoying the new year celebrations in george square. We just could not be botherd with the hasle getting home. It is bad enough getting a taxi on a normal saturday night, think what it would be like with ... ...help
To sum up abode in glasgow is a lovely hotel to stay at. If you are planing to vist glasgow and want a modern, trendy relaxing hotel i dont think you can go wrong with abode. * A Great City Centre Hotel *
Advantages: Location , rooms , Disadvantages: expensive , weird food
...i know it's good)
The Park in caught my eye because behind the reseption desk there is a water fall that changes colour , everytime I walked past this hotel I wanted to stay there!!
~*Location*~
it's 30 seconds from Glasgow bus station , not kidding you can see it from your window !! Very Central
~*The room*~
The room was lovely.
The Ensuite had a cool jet shower.one thing is part of the bathroom wall was made of glass blocks which I found ... ...and you can see right in!
~* Extra Informatioin*~
This hotel is a 4 start hotel and it's part of a chain.
Room service was good , but the food was a bit fancy for my liking. They had a resturant and a spa / sauna , the sauna was in the upstairs of the resturant , which is a little strange.
~*cost *~
cost me and my mate £60 for the one night , but we did have £25 off it due to using the hotel club so it is usally a bit more expensive than that. ...

Sex In The City Inn
Advantages: Good facilities, excellent breakfast, well-run establishment Disadvantages: Dinner menu is expensive
...in Glasgow, staying at the City Inn. I don't know if our Karen has ever been to Scotland? The purpose of this op is to outline our stay at this hotel thereby giving you an impression whether you would like to stay here or not?
WHY WE CHOSE THIS HOTEL?
Our travel operator for this trip was British Airways Holidays. I am sure that cheaper options would be found by more research on the Internet. But we have travelled with BA Holidays before and feel ... ...4 hotels and selected the City Inn from Ciao reviews.
PRICES
The cost per night varied from just under GBP 100 to just over. Breakfast was included with our package. Otherwise it would have cost around GBP 12 per person every morning. LOCATION
The hotel is located at Finnieston Quay, just on the outskirts of Glasgow city centre. We took a taxi from Glasgow Airport to the hotel and the fare was around GBP 21. The journey took about 30 minutes. ...

Finally some quality worth paying for
Advantages: The best food, the best service, the nicest people Disadvantages: Very Expensive
...start the hotel is called One Devonshire Gardens, the restaurant is actually called Amaryllis. This isn't somewhere you'll go for dinner very often, but if you want to impress someone, then this is the place to go. The kitchen is supervised by Gordon Ramsay, although he doesn't visit the place very often, I didn't quite understand that, but the food is great anyway.
Now my first piece of advice is to book early. I booked over a month in advance ... ...and a single flower on one side (an Amaryllis of course). Next the menu came and we were asked if we had been to the restaurant before, we hadn't so we were talked through the menu. You can have 3 courses (a La Carte), this lets you choose anything from the menu and costs £35 each. We went for the Prestige menu which consisted of 6 courses of smaller portions to let you taste a variety of dishes, it really wasn't as much as it sounds and was server ...
