Ive lived close to Glasgow all my life and i cannot think of a nicer place. The weathers not so good but the people are amazing. When you go into glasgow you are guaranteed to see soo many different types of people , it could be business men and woman , punks , goths , scene kids , old ladies , you name it , glasgow is packed with them .
If you want to go shopping then Glasgow city centre is the place to be. Not only does it have the Buchanan Galleries and St Enochs shopping centre , Places like Argylle Street are filled with cheap shops , designers shops , supermarkets , everything you need. If i was to list all the shops in Glasgow the list would be endless . Its more than likely that the shop you are looking for will be in Glasgow city centre.
Glasgow also has thousands of places to eat . Theres the usual McDonalds , KFC and Pizza Hut , infact theres at least 5 of each scattered throughout the streets . There are lots of small restuarants , pubs or more sophisticated eating places.
Throughout Glasgow there are many museums , art galleries , statues to see if you are into sight seeing. There are also swimming pools , cinemas , bowling alleys , theatres . You can never be bored when you come to Glasgow.
If you are driving then it will be hard to find parking in the centre so its best to park further out . Then you can catch a train or the underground/subway which stops at all the main places in town.
Glasgow also has its airport around 20 minutes from the city centre and buses which are fairly cheap.
Nightlife in Glasgow is great with a variety of nightclubs, bars & gigs.
I would say Glasgow is a fairly safe place but just be cautious of your belonging and when you are out at night because it is not a crime-free city.
How helpful would this review be to a person making a buying decision? Rating guidelines
I would only just rate this helpful as it really does not differentiate Glasgowe too much from anywhere else. Where do you like in Glasgow most?? What about the Rennie Mackintosh architechture. i love Glasgow as it is a nice city with great people.
