When you approach Glasgow from the new M77 motorway, the sight of the city laid out before you is a sight to behold. On a warm summers day or a crisp winter's it never ceases to startle me and make me appreciate that we have a beautiful city on our doorstep. At night the lights are twinkling and spead out like a jewelled carpet before you. The city itself is now a very clean and up market city, one suggestion is that you lift your eyes skywards when walking down a street because not always what is at ground leevel is what is at the top. For example the Italian Centre is full of Up Market designer shops but lift your eyes and the statues on the top of the building will astound you, Glasgow is definately miles better.
