My wife and I stayed in this hotel in mid-december for her 30th Birthday as part of a trip to London. We were not dissappointed! We booked direct with the hotel (http://www.milenniumhotels.co.uk/).
To start off with, the location is superb. It is literally around the corner from the Gloucester Road tube station. I'm not great with distances, but i would estimate it at 100-200 yards away. Great to dash to if it is raining. They also have secure undergound parking (i believe a charge applies, but i don't know how much).
Although the hotel says it is located in Harrington Gardens, the entrance is actually on a discreet undercover road between Harrington Gardens and Courtfield Road. As soon as you walk or drive through, it feels and oozes class.
The main doors are opened by one of three concierge members, and you are ...

eateries/drinking places and chose 372, which offers carvery selection. I was surprise how hot and fresh the food was. Not only that it was tasty too! We opted for lamb with roast potatoes, new potatoes and three vegetables. However, my only complaint about the meal was the vegetables; they were a tad on the raw side for my liking. That said I ALWAYS OVER cook my veggies. Dessert was for me home made apple pie and cream, while the other half opted for home made cheesecake ? both were consumed without any complaints and very much enjoyed. Our meal for two with drinks cost £29)

Advantages: Excellent central location; good bars and restaurants Disadvantages: Rooms a bit old fashioned; a little pricey
stacked high with a traditional beef or lamb or turkey (or all three!) roast, carved by a very friendly and funny chef who served us.
As mentioned earlier, Covent Garden is less than 5 minutes walk away (the tube station a couple of minutes more), and most of the theatres are within 5 minutes walk. It was an ideal place to stay. During the day we did the cheesy tourist thing and got on one of the tour buses (a stop is just around the corner from the hotel). We also went on the London eye, but got to this using the tour bus, but I believe it is around 15 minutes walk from the hotel.
All in all a good central location for siteseeing and theatre breaks, hence giving it a recommendation, but a little disappointed in the room (especially after paying for a "club" upgrade). If you've stayed in a typical Londonhotel before then the style ...
