\We went to the Holiday inn 3 times over three years. The first two times it was fabulous. The Hotel itself was really clean and the staff were really friendly and could not do enough for you. We stayed in the Club Rooms which are just a little bigger than the normal rooms and better fitted out. The hotel is set back from the beach and you walk along a lovely path through the gardens. We went all inclusive both times an probably paid about £1400 for 2 people for 2 weeks. The beach is fantastic. clean wide and you can walk for miles. The sea is warm and inviting. You can eat in the beach shacks as many people did, but we loved the food in the hotel and wanted nothing more than complete rest. We had previously stayed at the Leela Beach, The Ramada Renaissance and The Cicado where we had done all our touring. The last time we went back we noticed a drastic change, the Russians had found the hotel, they were loud, rude and took over the place, you could not hear yourself think most of the time so so much for a rest. They had also made the staff very money orientated and they wanted tipping for every service. Also there were people there trying to sell you time shares in th Pavillion Block not very nice and totally unexpected..All in all the hotel with its new look had changed so drastically there would be nothing to make us go back. The area is stunning if you like long beaches and superb weather there is no where better. Also lots of alternative places to eat or be merry. It is also a good base for trips and sightseeing. But for us spoiled for ever.
