Contrary to other opinions on this site, i found the staff in Going Places in Meadowhall, Sheffield were really helpful in my search for a holiday for the summer. Although i haven't been on my holiday yet i can only comment on the service i received and the overall view of the firm on my visit.
Me and my mates had experienced some problems previously when going to Thomas Cook and Lun Poly o we decided to givw Going Places their fair crack of the whip. When we went to book the shop was extremely busy and although we had a short wait we were soon being served by a helpful lady. The system Going Places use is the same as all the other travel agents as this is why when you go into one shop and ask for a price you get exactly the same when you go into another. I'll hold my hands up here and say that the system was pretty slow but considering it was a Saturday afternoon in late January and everyone was probably overloading the system with requests we weren't too bothered.
We were looking for a cheapish holiday and we found this over a nice cup of tea that was given to us free of charge by the shops staff, which was a nice touch. The customer service was very good and there were lots of nice young lady servants which was nice! Enough of that though, and overall from my personal experience of Going Places i can say that the service was not pushy (which i have found very uncomfortable in some shops) and very friendly.
