When me and my friends hit the high street, we were in search of cheap week in the sun. We wanted to go in early September and so thought that it would be quite difficult finding a holiday under £300. Anyhow, we went to Going Places and were really pleased with the service and the booking we were met with.
We went to Going Places in Cardiff and the travel agent was extremely helpful and had so much time for us - nothing was too much hassle. I know that it is their job and they work off commision, but she really tried hard to get the best deal for us. In the end we ended up paying £313 for a week in Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria, flying from Cardiff and with pre-booked flight seats. We were delighted!
The agent who served us was very cheerful and well-traveled (a huge advantage!) and had actually been to Puerto Rico (which was also a huge advantage). She was very honest about other appartments we looked at and I think more excited than we were!
Going Places offers its own Bureau de change with fanatastic rates. Its computer system allows you to view resorts and accomodation on screen - it is also very quick, being newly updated.
We haven't actually gone on our holiday yet, but so far we cannot fault the service of Going Places. We came away with all the relevant literature and just cannot wait to go now, go now!
